Last year, I had an opportunity to volunteer in the TL on Christmas to pass out toys and food to less fortunate people in our community. It was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling Christmases I’ve ever had. Usually when my kids are off to their dad’s for Christmas, I get hella drunk and watch A Christmas Story on replay over and over…. 

This year, I won’t have the chance to volunteer, but I wanted to be apart of giving back to SF. Tonight at John Colins our Wednesday weekly party will be having our holiday event featuring vendors selling local goods, and Stoli Vodka giving a gift back when anyone brings a unwrapped toy. 

All donations will go to the SFFD, whom will distribute the toys to organizations passing out toys to kids like the one I volunteered for last year. 

Feel Good music will be provided by myself and DJ Lady Ryan. 

Vendors: True SF, Papalote Salsa, Lady Bird SF Jewelry by Nina Parks, Fatal Jewelry, Unscripted Clothing, and more. 

No cover all night, and complimentary champagne for ladies before 11. How can you beat that?

I can’t even express how proud of I am of my sister Inkfat. She joined the Peaches crew this year and has quickly become fam. Watching her grow into a tremendous DJ, whom has developed her skill with HELLA hard work and long time love for music, has been inspiring. She recently released a mix dedicated to her recently passed Mother called “Some Kind Of Beautiful”. The smooth soulful hip hop mix includes drops from a flurry of DJs & MC homies and family from her brother, Allzy aka Illefect to Mama MC extraordinaire Melina Jones. The mix displays her true love for music and the community, and the love she gets back from it.

SO PROUD OF YOU BOO! 

I know it’s been a minute since I last posted anything on Tumblr. But if you follow me on FB/Twitter/instagram, then you should be pretty up to date. If you don’t know (which even if you did follow me, you probably ignore me), I have a new party in San Francisco on Wednesday nights in the city called CRUSH. I’m not a resident DJ there, but more of a curator… Every week, I feature a man and a woman DJ… I do DJ from time to time, only because there aren’t an abundance of female Djs… and not to mention there aren’t an abundance of Female Djs working full time as a DJ. But anyway, I VOW to bring hotness and good music to this event. My other goal is to use this as a hub for Bay Djs to network with other Djs they may or may not have worked with before. The event is at John Colin’s, which is a lovely venue in the heart of the SOMA. All I ask from the party-goers is to have an open mind and TRUST your Djs…
