UMAMI

As far back as I can remember, I loved music and had a respected passion for it. I grew up surrounded by sounds from Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, Roberta Flack, Earth Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, The Beegees, The Beatles and much more. I've played piano since I was 7 (which I'm not that good at anymore). I taught myself guitar and have picked up DJing in the past couple years. I've always known that I wanted to express myself through music and for it to be a significant part of my life. There's so much to learn, listen to, and see. Follow me in my quest of new discoveries, rediscoveries, and current interest of my love.

I planned a trip to LA to chill, shop, kick it with folks. One of my homies from down there hit me up and asked if I wanted to hop on the bill for an after hours party down there… And I could NOT say no. So this Friday, (tomorrow 4.16) I will be rubbing elbows with De La Soul’s very own Maseo. I’m stoked!
